We got a little (read lot) lost on the way to the Katakoy market, causing us to walk over 8 miles and have very sore feet. At one point, a very nice local wrote a note for us with the name of the market in Turkish (Sali Pazari). He also added his own bit in Turkish that read "help them please".

Very cool (and somewhat out of place) obelisk from the 14th century BC (more than 3400 years old!) Moved to the site of the ancient hippodrome (where it stands today) in the 4th century AD.
Our only alcoholic beverages of the entire trip. 99% of the turkish population is Islamic, and therefore does not imbibe.
